My Friend--The EVER Stylish Bren....

Happy Birthday to wonderful you! Still adorable, after all these years!
I've been think of you so much this birthday week. Oh, the memories! Just take a look-----

Our first "girls weekend" in Homer. I'm remembering my "trip zit", the toilet paper on that ladies' shoe at the movie theater, and our boat trip across the bay. (And just look at my hair--it's a "fro"!!)

Little did we know that it was the first of many great trips and lots of laughs--like this:
Just how many bras do you need, dear Bren?????

I hope you have a great birthday, and that these few pictures and the little trip down memory lane added a bit of fun to your day! Sure wish we were there to celebrate with you--but know that we are thinking of you today. Sending lots of birthday hugs!

Even though you are miles and miles away, I think of you often. You are a dear and treasured friend!

Love you, dear Bren. Happy, Happy Birthday!

Mr. Above Average......

Happy Birthday to my favorite brother! How many candles on your cake this year?

I'll bet you didn't know, that in addition to today being your birthday--it's YOUR LUCKY DAY!!!

Why, you ask? Well, that's because I can't find that wonderful picture of you (age 7) in my mint green prom dress and Mom's wig. Darn--that would have been the greatest blog post of all time! Oh, well--I guess you'll have to settle for 25 cents and 2 "pee-chees".

Love you alot Bug--in all seriousness, you are just the best brother. I hope you have a perfect birthday.

Your big sister,
Di
PS: Here is another picture that I just love.

What a handsome, happy young man--definitely above average in every way!

Been Exercising Much?

Deb--Be sure to do some gentle stretches each morning, BEFORE getting on your new elliptical trainer! Here is a picture for inspiration!

While looking for a certain picture of my brother for a birthday post, I found this old photo of dear Deb and Donna. I think this was filed under the heading "Younger and Sillier" (OK--maybe NOT sillier. After all, we did just stand in line for two hours to have our picture taken with Santa!)

I think they were doing their morning "stretches" after a night of ggggggg's and fun at our house in Anchorage. (sniff, sniff) There were soooo many wonderful mornings like this, and I sure miss them.

OK, that's a "blast from the past" for you all!

I have a few more surprises up my sleeve, so stay tuned! Oh, maybe around the 9th or so. Hmmmmmmm-what could that day be????
